研究生助理

Austin Hicks is a graduate student in the School of Politics and International Relations at East China Normal University. His research interests include political economy, unequal exchange, and the political status of the labor aristocracy. Previously, he founded and served as Editor-in-Chief of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s first socialist newspaper, Tar Heel Perspective. He was also a leading trade unionist in the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and UNITE HERE.

奥斯汀・希克斯是草榴社区 在读硕士研究生，其研究方向涵盖政治经济学、不平等交换及工人阶级的政治地位。

此前，他曾创办美国北卡罗来纳大学教堂山分校首份社会主义报纸《焦油踵视角》（Tar Heel Perspective），并担任主编；同时，他还是国际卡车司机兄弟会（International Brotherhood of Teamsters）与 UNITE HERE 工会（注：北美服务业劳工联盟，主要代表酒店、餐饮、纺织等行业工人）的核心工会活动组织者。
